Still fasting, but transitioning today. I started my day with a bullet-proof coffee, with one tablespoon each of butter and coconut oil in coffee. So, a bit of fats, but that shouldn't have a glycemic response. I may have some bone broth later in the day. And switch into a bone broth fast for the next couple of days. My cold is resolving, the low fever is gone; still congested, but I think I'm on my way out of the illness. Fasting through it feels like it gave my body a good way to fight it with super ketones. (in the 1.-2. range). I've run out of ketone strips, but I started out at .5 and it slowly climbed over days to a max of 2. My glucose range has been 78-111. I was surprised that it didn't drop more and the 111 was in the morning, three days into the fast. Maybe I'm still quite insulin resistant. So, the weight loss is astounding to me, but I know there will we a regain when I start eating again. After weeks of a plateau, it's nice to see the chart drop off a cliff. Have a great week everyone!
