Day 1 complete of my fat fast. I've lost a little bit already. I have four more days then I will begin consuming only 60% fat and see if this will help me tap into my own fat stores. I was consuming 70% and was maintaining. I have two weeks left in this month to try and lose 3 to 4 lbs. Its been a real battle getting out of the 2teens. I have 16.8 lbs to go to get out of the teens! I'm excited to complete this fast and trying out my new menu of 60% fat.

I like running on fat. It's weird. If I'm careful with the carb back loading I don't kill it. Good luck Deb. A worthy endeavour.

Thanks NM. I increased my fat and gained. So my thought is I must have been eating just enough to maintain, so I need less to tap into my fat stores. We'll see. I start that in four days time. :) Looking forward to the new approach.

Fat is a tricky one. At double the calories of protein and carbs you really have to measure them. I find the biggest thing is they make me feel satisfied, but I never feel full when they're a significant part of my diet. I'm actually loving not feeling stuffed. Anytime I feel stuffed I get lethargic. Have a wonderful day Deb. Keep on figuring it out. It takes a while.
