I am busy to say the least. I may not spend more than 80 hours a week at my job like I did when I was a nurse, but I spend most of my time working on the books. Book 2 should be done this week. Then I will get some query letters written - I will do at least three a day before fixing Book 3, and mail them all out in mid March or so probably. I am not that sociable a person I've realized, if I was I would be out and about more and have more friends. I may move to the Pittsburgh area if I get published as my friend Marge is there with her son, Marge is sickly with chronic health problems and though she is only a few years older than me is like an eighty-year-old health-wise, so is not dating material. I could move there and pay much less for rent and everything is cheaper they tell me except the state taxes there, here they're only on luxuries, food and clothing aren't included... I am eating NO sugar so am on the first and correct stops into doing Atkins again. The cravings are passing for junk food and candy - totally unhealthy...

I've been being hard on myself as I don't have a college education and it is unlikely that I ever will. Once I was out of the service I had such bad mental health and physical issues with arthritis that I could not go to school, I just challenged the board in CA to get the LVN (LPN) license. My oldest niece graduated valedictorian of her high school class and in the top 1% of her college class. Her husband is getting his doctorate in physics. Yet I have to realize I AM still very creative and will hopefully get published soon enough... I am doing well otherwise...

My mom called - my younger niece Shannon lost her 6th child, he was found in the crib this morning and he was gone, he was only a few months old. My sister had been doing his day care during the week. Now I wish I had gone to my sister's Christmas Eve - I would have got to see him. I knew something was wrong when I called and my mom was crying, oh well. I need to call my aunt so she can get a hold of my dad hopefully...

Thanks Bren and ctlss. I tried to write on here a little over an hour ago and the power surged, I had to do a 'system restore' and refresh my virus protection and all that. The weather is icy, rain - now warming up but I should try to stay off the computer till evening... my sister was helping raise all six of her grandchildren so it has to be very hard for her and her husband - he has been helping as he is doing the daycare too. The baby was born in November so he was only three months old, Joshua II.
