Good Morning!

Frank gave me a fluctuation UP this morning ... another opportunity to practice patience and correct thinking. My calorie consumption is fairly steady and my exercise as well so I KNOW that the fluctuation is just that. Besides, Frank is simply a tool and I do daily weigh-ins not to measure progress but to keep me honest. I need to look at weekly numbers, monthly numbers, and my overall chart to measure progress ... not daily weigh-ins. I'm getting better at not feeling so frustrated with the daily fluctuations. I am pleased about that. So ... with that said ... I am practicing patience and positive energy and need to enjoy this moment rather than focusing on where I want to be. Enjoy where I am today. Today I can wear size 16's and 14's. My XL tops are loose and even some of my large tops are loose. Most of the clothes in my closet fit including my black leather pants!! I FEEL good. I have NO heartburn. I can easily cross my legs. Getting up and down from the floor is easier (something you do a lot when you work with babies birth to three!!!).

Have a wonderful day my friends!! Let's all celebrate today!!

CONGRATS!!! I too am in a 14 and some 16's. I totally get how you feel. I have 4 babies I need to take care of so crossing my legs and getting up and down are huge for me. You are doing so great!!! I am glad I can relate to someone. Keep up the awesome work!!!

I know what you mean, I actually just got rid of a pair of pants that I was holding on to "just in case" it is scary but also so exciting to let go of the "fat pants". My goal is not to make my pants now "fat pants". I can't wait! Congrats to you, and your overall progress. You are doing so great.

Thanks yogamama!! It is an exercise in patience isn't it??? I was thinking this morning ... I get so excited about each decrease on the scale but don't spend much time REALLY taking it in ... instead I quickly look to the next number I want to see!! LOL!! It is fun to be able to wear more variety in clothes ... and to feel more comfortable in them!! You keep up the awesome work too!!! I can't wait till we are in MAINTENANCE and celebrating our success!!

I know what you mean I saw the 186 but have not really allowed myself to deal with that number and relish it. I will take some time today to do that and to see how much I have lost. I am so ready to see the next numbers you are right. When watching BL they lose a pound or so and are so upset by that and I am yelling at my TV its ok!! I should take my own advice. Now I am going to go really think about that number I saw this morning. Thanks.

What a wonderfully positive, inspiring, post this morning. Your positive energy is contagious. You inspire me more than you know. Your attitude about the scale, I may need some of your outlook tomorrow morning. Continue having a wonderful day. ((hugs))

Thanks for your comments, I always appreciate them. I agree totally that your progress is something that should be measured in something longer than a daily time frame, but that daily weigh-ins are *very* important for some personality types (for a number of reasons). Judging from your spectacular chart (one of the most consistent that I have seen) you have mastered the formula that works for you. Keep up the great work!

Awww ... Info ... you are so kind!!! I so agree ... my personality type MUST particpate in the daily weigh in ... otherwise my alter ego takes over and convinces myself that I can EAT AND EAT AND EAT ... well ... you know the rest of the story (as Paul Harvey used to say!!)

I'm in the same state of mind. I really need relax and enjoy the moment, see myself in the 'here and now' time frame and not worry about why I am not at the end already. I'm glad you wrote such a great entry today. It really inspires me! And you seem to be sending lots of that positive energy and patience my way! YAY!

girlygirl ... we are definitely in this together!!! So many of us are all working on living the same lessons!!! It's so wonderful to connect. I adore my normal weight friends and family but they really don't get it ... they care but they just don't completely get it. It is so good for me to have friends who understand and can relate to how I feel and think!! I think I've become a cyber geek!!! LOL!!
