Aaah yes! I made a spinach dish that looked and tasted great! OK it tasted good! Sesame oil with toasted sesame seeds and lightly sauteed spinach! Fresh cracked pepper. I must be delusional because it felt like a plate of spaghetti! I left the stems on & it was fresh spinach. I had 1/4 avocado with it. I wonder if this can be lunch and keep me full?

I am going to try and cut down on my cheese. & meat. I don't eat much beans and legumes, they seem to get in my way . . . . . I think I have to stick with vegetables! Not sure how to feel full with veggies?!? I think being vegetarian is an art!

Here are my nuggets o'wisdon: cheese is a big one for my husband, he puts it on everything...just for a daily cheese FYI: if you left the cheese off of your salad, you'd save somewhere around 140 calories and 4ish grams of fat...wowzers right? So my husband also hates veggies....so what we've done is switched a lot of our meat to extra lean turkey..ground turkey, turkey ham (yes there is such a thing), turkey breast, italian turkey sausage...yadda yadda....less fat, less cals....also, you'd be surprised how many ways you can hide finely chopped cauliflower in your foods, you honestly won't even taste it!! I always add it to our tacos and spaghetti (made with ground turkey of course)...have a salad before your dinner, I promise you will eat less of your entree...and lastly, don't be afraid of vegetarian things like Boca or Morningstar, they really aren't that bad, I always have a box of Boca burgers in my freezer....

You are going to have to eat beans and legumes. Also try increasing your flax seed and chia seeds.

Do you like salsa? I found an amazing Corn and Black Bean salsa...it's very nummy! You really can't taste the beans....

i LIKE vegetables, especially if they are raw or just lightly cooked; my problem is I only stay full for about 5 minutes! I have some sort of insulin and hormones issue which leaves me hungry and in highs and lows all the time; I actually take a flax / fiber mix 2-3 times a day and it really helps with that . ... . I have a dr's appt next week to get a full assessment! hope I get some good suggestions!

My lunch today was 1/2 cup of cannellini beans and 1 cup of roasted carrots with water added. The beans had some of the cooking stock. Added some water and heated in the microwave, made a yummy quickie stew. Was too much to eat and stayed full all day.
