I am feeling awesome! Went through my tactics, and now I have an 1815 chess rating. I love chess. My ex and I would play regularly. The kids were categorized as Rook (Oldest - CJ), Sean (Bishop), and Jerec (Pawn).
They picked them, and they fit them perfectly.
Now my next goal is to get to 1900 (Expert level, in the United Chess Foundation. The work I've had to put in is insane. 10 years. I've put that much work to attain this level.
Yesterday, was my wedding anniversary. Tammy and I would have had our 21st anniversary. It's come and gone, and there is no reason to think of it.
All there is, the kids. I miss them horribly. I had a visitation from them, and It was 5 years ago. I was writing for a NanoWriMo event. And then I felt them, all three of them.
CJ put his hand on my shoulder, and I started crying. My parents did not know I was crying. I knew they were there.
CJ said "We will never leave you dad. We will ALWAYS be with you, since we need to stick together. You are on the right track, and you will be great no matter what you do. We know you have let us choose our chess pieces. We are who we selected. We are your defenders."
