I left my apartment for my usual 4 mile walk along the beach this morning and it's such a glorious day I decided to keep going. There was so much inspiration all around me today. There was a man who had no legs who was riding a really cool recumbent bike with hand pedals. He whizzed right by me a couple of times. He looked to be pure muscle. I wondered if he was that fit before losing his legs, but maybe he was born without them. But he was my inspiration this morning to go an extra mile. My legs work just fine and can carry me as far as I want them to. What I'm grateful for today: The view from where I rested my weary bones after my beautiful, but hot and humid walk.

I think I would find it so easy to get myself out there everyday and walk, I love the beach, and everything about it, soothes the soul. How lucky you are.
