Well, thar she blows! Up almost 5 pounds this morning (from 198.4 to 203.0). Glycogen has arrived! Water is being stored. Intestines are being filled with food (with no movement as of yet). If I didn't already know this would happen, I would be pretty upset about it.
Pix are yesterday afternoon's 1/3 baked potato with bacon, olives and ranch. This morning, I woke up at 2am with an itching ankle. Used Benedryl spray and took two Benedryl pills, and I was still going crazy. So I got up, and WAITED to have "breakfast" until 4am. Because I was feeling bloated, I really felt like I wanted some vegetables - thus, the Glory Collard Greens and Glory Southern Green Beans (with potatoes - which I just separated into their own little pile).
The Italian Restaurant dinner last night was a buffet-style meal. There was a very small salad with Italian dressing, which I ate half of. And my buffet choices were cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, Chicken Fettuccini, Baked Ziti and Chicken Parmesan. I was able to cut a piece off the Parm Chicken and ate one spoon of it (about 2"x3") - and that was all I ate. I passed on the cake (which my husband said was very good)! OH, when I got home, for "dessert," I had 15 cherries.
I feel pretty good about yesterday's food choices and portion sizes. I had a plan for what I was going to eat, and I stuck with the plan. I didn't let my new WOE keep me from going to a social event, and I "fit in" by eating a small amount of what was available. I only got in about 6 cups of water yesterday, though. Gotta work on that today!
Kids will be here ALL day today - I leave to pick them up at 6:40am and they will be here until 3 or 4pm. Somehow, I'll need to occupy them inside so I can go into the pool and clean it before they come in to play. (Have to do it when the water is still so I can see the bottom to vacuum it.)
Plans for food for the rest of the day food-wise will include an Atkins Farmhouse Scramble around 6am. At 10, I will have a serving of the 7-Layer Salad, and at noon I will have one Tyson's Southern Style Chicken Tenderloin (they're pretty big). Dinner will be another plate of vegetables (collards & green beans), and the rest of the baked potato (which WOULD have been 2/3 of it, but there were a couple big bad places that I had to cut out, so it will be a little less than HALF of the potato). Dessert will be a banana cut up with 10 cherries. Goal is no additional snacking between my mini-meals, which will be challenging, because when the kids are here it makes me a little nervous, which makes me want to eat constantly. Also makes me want to drink a lot of Diet Coke. Going to try to replace a good deal of that with water.
