I'm disappointed in my weight-in. The weight is slowly creeping back up. I watched a weight loss show last night, and the lady said if you want to see change changes you have to make them yourself. That's so true. I just feel like I am addicted to food. Its my comfort. I need to find a hobby or go walking or do something other than eat.

I am often in the place you describe. If I may suggest 2 things: Google William Anderson's weight loss blogs on Huffington Post. He is an addiction therapist who works with food addictions and I find his writing helps me. Secondly, try to imagine what you would like to be doing 1 or 2 years from now if your weight loss work was done. Would you be playing the harp? Speaking fluent Italian? In a quilting group? These ideas help me to get off of the couch. I hope this week is better for you.

Thanks. I will do both. Whenever I complain to my mom she always says in 6 months you can either weigh less than now or be the same weight. I think about all the 6 months that have passed by. Thank you :)

Maybe you can try "scheduling" your meals and snacks. Then you'll know when you are eating out of boredom and you can have a nice glass of water instead. I hope you find something that works for you!
