So today I went on the scale... and lo and behold! I saw this beautiful 51,900 KG mark back... after a dedicated rough week of Intermittent Fasting (15-17hs), calories control (1000-1400), and regular practise of 2 hours of exercises daily..

But today.... had my sister’s birthday party...


Overall disaster: 5000 CALORIES🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤦🏼‍♀️ (more or less - mostly carbs & sugaaaaaaar).

- For breakfast I had 2 eggs, 3 slices of bread, 1/2 cup creamy corn and tomato salsa + coffee with milk = 400 kcal 🔥

- I made some homemade shortbread cookies the day before for today’s celebration (each cookie is 30 grams = 150 kcal each) - I had 5 of these! =750 KCAL 🔥🔥

- For diner my sister made barbecue. Lamb burger / white rice / sardines / beef sirloin (brazilian picanha), cob of corn and to top up the calorie explosion my mother made her amazing homemade fresh bread (I ate 2 slices of 100g each) = 1700-1800kcal 🔥🔥🔥

- Still... not enough... my mom brought a bunch of pastries and the birthday chocolate cake: (I had one custard tart (150kcal), 3 miniatures pastries, similar to apple strudels... one mini cheesecake and a slice of the bday cake plus 2 slices of cheese and another coffee with milk) = + 2000kcal 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Now, my overall calories of the week is about 1900 KCAL - IMAGINE IF I DIDN’T DIET THE DAYS BEFORE😱

Tomorrow, returning to healthy habits. Will do a couple of days with calories deficit and exercices, and then proceed to increase to 1350-1400 kcal with exercices and Intermittent Fasting. Hoping at least, I don’t gain weight. Wish me luck!

Ah confessions. I agree with grammalaura, enjoy your family and get back on track. We all have had a splurge day. The resulting emotions may just make the long term decision to eat healthier easier. You got this!
