I did it! 35 mile bike ride this morning. Knocked off quite a bit of time from last year's ride. Last year time was 3 hours 22 minutes. Today, 3 miles 1 minute. Was sooo trying to make it under the finish line before the 3 hours and a block away got stopped by a traffic light!! Normally we don't have to stop on the course for traffic but idiots in cars went around the road block and we had to stop. Ah well... Feeling good. Thanks to Rob W. For mentioning the app mapmyfitness to record the ride! I averaged 12.0 mph and the app says I went 36.14 miles and burned 2529 calories. I got frequent updates as to how long I'd been riding, how many miles, and speed. So thanks, Rob!

Thanks, everyone. And Bwy, my legs didn't hurt a bit this year. Not even two days later, when you normally feel it! Im thinking all the time at the gym is actually paying off. I did have a sore neck and shoulders til yesterday, but thats for hunching over on the bike for three hours straight. I think next year we may do the 60 mile again as hubby said he felt great after as well.
