Differenteyes's Journal, 12 May 2014

So looking at peoples journals I have realized just how much peoples past experiences impact upon daily life....
I can relate to this as I was in a ten year relationship which lets say was not a healthy one..
I managed to end that 2 years ago.....but in these two years I have sat on my butt and I have achieved nothing..
As we all know comfort eating is not good and that's what I did....not only that never really went out unless I needed food or something important..
But 3 weeks ago I looked in the mirror and did not like what I saw back and decided enough is enough ...
So I got off my butt and am changing my life .....I know this will not happen overnight but feeling optimistic that I can change things....
The past is the past and however long we sit there brooding over it , it will not change , put it behind and look to the future .....

These are wise words. You sound like a backpacker at the start of a long journey, overpacked, enthusiastic, eager and ready to go. I, for one will not stand in your way! But know i am there for you, when you find the past does not let itself so easily be forgotten.
