Visiting people over the weekend always throws me off my eating schedule.
And staying away from the crisps and candy when it is always placed right in front of you is not the easiest thing to do.
I did ok i think. Problem is that their eating habits and mine are so different, they usually have a huge breakfast at 09 followed by nothing until dinner at 19. Not ideal for me, since i do not know how large a portion i will need. Also when visiting in laws i want to be on my best behavior, and for me not having lunch will not put me in a good mood.

At least we played 2*18 holes of golf, so thats a fair bit of exercise. i seem to have made it thrugh the weekend without gaining weight at least.

I slipped on sunday though, had to work and had to perform against a tight deadline. Anxiety took me over and i ended up almost binging on candy instead of having dinner. In these cases i can see very clearly that it is more of a psychological problem than a physical one when it comes to candy. Using candy as a motivational drug...

This weekend is the yearly conference... hmm.. well... i'll have to be extra careful to start dieting as soon as i get home. it's just a few days. luckily i'm a light weight when it comes to alcohol, so even thoug people here tend to drink at these events i won't get that many calories from it, since i don't drink so much...
