Here’s one thing I have personally experienced about weight loss. Quitting alcohol has no weight loss effect if you replace those beverages with sugary drinks and other’harmless’ treats. You’ll sleep a lot better though. Particularly if you include a selection of caffeine-free products like flavored soda water and herbal teas.

Yesterday: 1520 calories, 3 mile run, 45 minute workout.
