It seems like everyone on this site is really doing a great job at watching what they eat. I don't like saying "no" to myself. I feel like I'm not trying hard enough...it is probably because I'm really just trying to lose that "vanity" weight. *shrugs* I also want to be stronger. I feel good about my exercising, but MANG...DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE. Can't resist it...BUT...that is probably also because it is that time...where I start craving chocolate, anyway. *nudge nudge*

Have you tried looking at it as saying "not as much" rather than saying "no"? You should be able to eat the things you want, just do so in moderation. You may also be able to switch them out with a better version of those same items. Try switching milk chocolate with dark chocolate (I know I need to work on that, I don't care for dark chocolate). Depriving ourselves just leads to a snowball where we finally break down and go way overboard.

I never liked dark chocolate either but something I tried and really liked was the Lindt Excellence chocolate with Sea Salt. The sea salt takes the bitterness out of the dark chocolate and a little piece really does the trick.

hmm..that's a good idea. I actually do like dark chocolate. Also, I will keep my eye out for the Lindt chocolate with sea salt. That sounds pretty good!
