Motivation...and energy level...have taken a hit! Day before yesterday were two great workouts and wonderful meal-balance too. However, yesterday due to a little slacking and planning-issue (went food-shopping after work instead of coming straight home and workign out!) and then by the time i came home, i was hungry and tired and needed to eat first...long story short, i didnt go to workout after all. My muscles that were pretty ok through the day, starting to ache in my thighs and legs due to those lunges and squats from the day before. I ate more cheese than i should have!
This morning( Wed.), gingerly got on the scale but was happy to see no gain--no loss either! I was feeling pretty sore today. Kept putting off gym, until late evening, and then instead of three hours, put in only a little over an hour! Didnt sweat at all. And at the hour juncture, started to get pretty hungry, so I gave up and came back and had dinner.
Hope to get my energy and motivation restored by tomorrow!!! Why does this seem to be a daily up and down thing? You'd think that it'd be a habit by now!!!! I don't need to dredge up motivation to bathe or brush my teeth...I'd feel gross if I didn't do either---I hope soon that working out becomes the same kind of ritual---to feel gross on the day I don't do it...and to do it to feel refreshed and charged!
Right now, am munching some nuts---a bad idea!! The carb-count is getting high!!
Exercise: 30 mins bike: about 110 calories? 30 mins elliptical: about 220 calories
Meals: scrambled eggs (1) with celery/scallion, meatless crumbles (2), soy milk (2) coffee with creamer (4) 2 laughing cow cheeses (2) 1 slice pepper jack cheese (0) veggie stir fry with mock duck (4?) atkins bar (2) mixed nuts (16!!)
Total: 32 carbs Very high fat content!!!
