I've been struggling with these last 5kg for a year you are doing fine! Maybe have the smoothie an hour before your work out it could be that you are letting your hunger build up too much during the day and then being starving at night. It happened to me yesterday and I ended up eating 2400 calories all up! We all struggle don't worry about it:-)

Try 1/2 c oats mixed with 1 c greek yogurt, 2 tbsp nuts and 1/2 c berries for breakfast. It will fill you up and keep calories way lower than the smoothie. Oatmeal with nuts and berries is another way to go too.

I would cut out the PB sandwich/Reeses Pieces, Pineapple and Cantaloupe. The mixed nuts might not be good either, depends on what type. Those are all off limits because of fat/carbs and/or sugar content. It's truly amazing how many calories/sugar/fat are in some things. Like the Fat Free Plain Yogurt actually has more calories than the Dannon Light and Fit. Go figure. I'm a long way from my goal, but 20 lbs. in 6 weeks and 15 1/4 inches gives me a good feeling!

Depends what kind of smoothie you can make a almond milk smoothie with berries and a banana. That's roughly 200cal.

I know how you feel, I'm so close to being where I want to be (my goal weight is just somethign to motivate me but I don't realistically see myself getting there, I just want to trim the fat off my stomache and I'd be really happy...) It is hard to keep up when you havent seen real loss in over a week. I cant get below 130, and I don't feel like I'm seeing progress when I look at myself anymore. I noticed a huge change at the beginning and now nothing... stick with it... we all have rough spots!

Replacing the sandwich would be a good idea i feel less hungry since cutting out most bread. I eat rice crackers instead it's about a 3rd of the calories and less carbs too! You can do it!

Natiffy184....don't get discouraged! Plateaus are normal. I think we should all be able to get belly fat trims! LOL

The only thing I can think of, considering you're already exercising is probably eating less carbs and more fat/proteins and fibers :P. That would be a great help in curbing your appetite. Also, exercising for longer, even if less intensively would also burn more calories. Whatever you do, don't worry! You will get around this, even if it takes some time!

We didn't put it on overnight. We won't lose it overnight, although I did ask the skinny fairy to grant me that wish! I didn't even weigh this much when I gave birth to each of my three. Gained most with first one....68 lbs., but was 17 and started at 105 lbs. Lost with last two, probably cause I was so sick during those pregnancies and in my thirties.

Spinning is a really rough workout - you probably need more protein in your smoothie to help recovery and aid in muscle repair... try adding PB2 (peanut butter powder) or a vanilla/chocolate protein powder to your smoothie, it might fill you up more :) I use Vega One Sport and sometimes mix with almond milk but it's good with chilled water and some ice, blended too. You eat a lot of fruit, which is great! (I do too) But sometimes you have to try to eat more veggies, because they don't have as much sugar and I find they fill me up more with high fiber content and less water than say pineapple or cantaloupe. Water is important too and I try to drink a bottle of water pre-meal to make sure I don't over eat or snack just because my body "thinks" it's hungry and is really thirsty! lol it happens a lot more than I realized! You're doing great, I know how studying takes its toll... overnighters in college were not kind to my weight loss either. Good luck!!
