At least you can make a joke about the culprit. Those dog-gone twisted pretzels!

You are so twisted! 😀 Seriously though I can’t be trusted around pretzels. I can’t keep them in the house!

You also might talk to your wonderful guy and ask for his help with making meals that you might find more conducive to achieving your goal. That would be a wonderful surprise.

I'm more of a popcorn girl, but crunchy salty snack foods are just defeating, agreed. The only thing in my pantry right now that fits that bill is pepitas (pumpkin seeds), salted, of course. The bag remains unopened and shoved to the back of the shelf. Emergency purposes only! 😛

Jimmie you should have watched the UFC fight. First kick, the guy broke the other guy’s leg. I was screaming for the first 5 minutes! Ahhhh!😳

Becky the most horrid part is I don’t care for them that much, I still downed them, very idiotic behavior!🙃

Mesatop, I liked them once awhile back, for you could have like 15 sticks for like 90 calories. But, now my husband is stocking big pretzels full of calories and salt. Hopefully, it is just a phase. 🙁

Mariel I am very blessed. He has been a blessing in so many ways! Makes up for the times I could kill him.😁

Kenna, I am lucky that he has always been a cook that uses olive oil and vegetables and cooks a meal fit for a dieter. Yet, I just don’t know, lately he has been cooking late, which we no longer are supposed to be doing. He’ll stop soon I am sure. Our schedules are all messed up and upside down. Once we are back on a better schedule, it will help me. Have to be careful now to leave room for surprises. 😁

JustBananas my love of all time is popcorn and Skinny Popcorn has been my go to. I have been out.🥲 Pretzels were our only snack food.
I never had pumpkin seeds, will try them sometime, but unsalted, if they have that.
I leave crackers for company in the back of the cabinet away from my hubby. 😁

I need someone to explain that break to me, please. My eyes saw it, but my brain doesn't understand what the f happened. Was it the angle he kicked? I've watched plenty of fights, and OMG. Horrific to witness.

Tell me if I'm overstepping here. I think you & Hubby need to talk. Tell him you appreciate the meals he has been cooking & they taste great. But to help you stay with your plan, you need him to give you a heads up he's cooking. That way you can plan ahead during the day and leave calories for the meal he's cooked for you. As for snacks....I don't ever eat snacks from a bag any more. Everything goes on a plate or in a bowl. It gets measured out & I know after that's gone...no more. If I know half a cup of something is not going to be enough and I'll eat more, I find a treat that will satisfy me, but not throw me totally over in calories. Good luck!

Also be assured, I sometimes eat a decadent treat that is higher in calories. But, like I said I know up front how many calories I'm consuming. NO mindless grazing allowed. 😊
