Hi Rachelle—I am very happy you are recovering. If you follow Covid information releases you are probably aware that it may take several months to get back to feeling some semblance of normal so don’t get discouraged. healthier eating and getting regular exercise — walking, not busting your ass at a gym for hours everyday, will be very helpful, then increase activity as you begin to feel better. I hope you still plan on getting the vaccination when you are able to qualify. Any immunity after active infection is fairly short lived and reinfection is possible. Have this conversation with your doctor if need be and read the CDC guidelines on the subject. This Covid is a monster and we are far from done with it.. The two biggest risk factors to getting Covid are diabetes and obesity. The same two issues are also the greatest risk factors for not surviving Covid if you do get it. This is a Tuesday morning motivation for staying on your healthier lifestyle program. STAY VIGILANT— this is not the time to drop your guard.
