Do they look as good as the negative feelings you will probably have a few minutes after you eat it??? Stay focused.

Lol! Donuts are tasty. Like I always said sugar sticks to the hips and in areas you don't want. I know it's really hard to stay away from that when others offer it.

If you're like me (I'd have a bite then proceed to have just 1 more until the box was gone) stay strong and keep away...you can do it!!! If you can handle moderation cut off a quarter and just enjoy it.

@acd36, LoL. I used to eat 6-8 from the dozen we got for our office. For some reason I gained on that diet 🤔

1200 calories a day is extremely low. How do you manage?

Most Mondays someone at work brings home baked treats. I always look at the treats, but just say, no thank you. Except for one day when I didn’t bring breakfast or lunch to work 😞 That day I had 1 treat for breakfast, and another for lunch.
Plan ahead folks, so you don’t end up like me! 😂

I hope you won that struggle. If not, you will be mentally beating yourself up and want to get a whole box of donuts for yourself! The struggle is real. Be strong. Or work hard to combat the effects.

Fix a cup of tea or tall glass of seltzer & walk right past donuts. You can do this.

@arvinfernandez some days it's hard but mostly it's very manageable. I'm usually not that hungry anyway.

grab a knife and cut yourself half a donut. it's like 150 calories.
dieting and getting healthy is important, but what's the point of living longer if you aren't enjoying it?

I pushed away a raspberry chocolate tart yesterday, but the struggle is very real.

In the past I have fallen off the wagon for up to a year for eating a small piece of cake or even a little ice cream with berries. I find that the sugar jags my sugar craving and I just want more. I hope you either can hang tough or if you already had some, I hope you can go right back to the "straight and narrow". Sometimes I could and sometimes I didn't.

Just do like I do: Take a bite out of everyone of them, that you like, and count it as one donut. Put the slices/pieces together to form one donut, then eat it! Voila!! Problem solved. Just make sure you stay within your 1200 calorie RDI like I do. :)

Just found this recipe for a healthier doughnut! I will definitely be trying.

Bagels are my weakness. I’ve been making them in my air fryer just with greek yogurt, flour, and whatever toppings I want. They’re so easy and surprisingly good.
