Today was my first day of counting every calorie and keeping a food log. I think this is an excellent tool to keep me on track, keeps me more accountable. Hopefully by the end of the week I will drop a pound or 2!!

I think keeping a food journal is super helpful. I lost my first 70 pounds ( a few years ago) doing nothing but counting calories and journaling. I found it helpful to write my meal down before I eat it, that way it is locked in. No room for cheating!

Thanks, writing it down first seems to keep the plan in place. Like today I;m pretty sure I ate less because I was writing it down, We will see!!
