Calling all fellow mindful eating enthusiasts… and/or any interested in discussing mindful eating more. Bella & I are starting an online book club to again work through the Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat for Binge Eaters book that was the basis for the retreat I went on. Just as I had posted chapter recaps here on my journal, I was also positing them in a group that we belong to, "Compulsive Eating, Overeating & Eating Disorders". In that group's forum, we will start again with Chapter 1 and discuss each chapter, one at a time, each for a week or two. If you'd like to join us -- and we'd love to have you! -- please join the group & join in. The more, the merrier! The group had been quite active at one time, but is not any longer & has dwindled to mainly just Bella & I.
Lucky me has another great day ahead. I'm spinning with a friend this morning & coffee with her after (the friend who we just went to Utah with that I adore) and then another coffee date this afternoon with another friend -- both are down-to-earth, no pretense, good people… just like it is as I share my morning coffee with each of you! Good thing I only drink decaf!
But before I begin my "lucky me" day, I'll pray --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.
And through this one fun-filled day and each one meal, moment, bite, thought & emotion, I'll pray, breathe, log, journal and express my way. I'm so very grateful for each of amazing you, my family & IRL friends especially the two I'll be seeing today, that the snow stayed away from me - sorry any on the Cape, warming temps after this storm, and having the health & wealth to live this life I love! xoxox
