Yep. I’ve been riding my calories down again for oh I don’t know you’ll have to look up the date. Anyway I don’t log every day but when I do I realize how much chai tea I have consumed. I like cream and honey and mine. I have reduced my intake but I have not kicked the habit. I have explored other creamers. And erythritol for the second or 3rd cup sometimes. You could play around with that. I also created this in my meals so that I can select quickly

Erythritol doesn’t give you the runs?! That stuff is poison to me. Good luck with the logging.

The only time I don't log something is if it has less than 5 calories. I actually do log the stevia I put in my coffee each day. If you want a truly accurate accounting of what you're putting in your body, you need to log it all...especially if multiple servings start adding up to a substantial amount.

I don’t need coffee, but I do enjoy one cup each morning The problem is I like it with cream & sugar.
Logging everything you eat is important.

Buying a treadmill was the best thing for me. I use it 2-3 times everyday!

"thinking about not logging my coffee"....Look, we're all struggling; dieting is hard. But I would suggest rule #1 is--> don't lie to yourself. I wouldn't log unsweet tea or black coffee because that's about 2 calories a cup. But if it has things in it with calories, you really need to log it. Good luck !!

I have a little frother and I froth skim milk for my coffee. It adds few calories (1/4 cup) but just seems to make it taste better. Sometimes I add a little cinnamon before I froth it.

I hear you. I have a breakfast coffee mix I have been drinking for 40 years— I look forward to it every morning. Considerable calories and sugar carbs. It is important to me and I just include in my WOE and log it

I regularly drink cappuccinos. That's against the conventional diet advice of not drinking your calories. To me, the cappuccino is worth the 130-150 calories. I log it, and it merely deducts some carbs, fat and protein from my budget. I make my diet work for me, not the other way round.

Beer on the weekends, but I log it, even when it pains me to see the numbers. =) Lying to myself was what got me into trouble to begin with.

I can relate! Anytime I lied to myself about the food I ate, it wouldn’t help!

What I do when I have something I've just GOTTA HAVE (my Easter cupcakes, for example)--I log it first and build my day's food around it. So if your coffee is worth it to you, own it and enjoy it. Plan your food for the day to stay within limit. I've found it's not so much WHAT I'm eating as it is the PLANNING that's important.

I know that I DO have to log my numerous daily coffees but I think right now just getting back on track and in the habit again of logging my other "foods" and everything else I do will help me be better able to log my coffees because I'll be more in the habit and in control., not making excuses but it's the way things end up working out for me. So I think I'll try it this way for maybe a week and then I think coffees will be logged at that point.

I often add caloric beverages & empty calories under snacks to help me mentally separate the food vs other/extra.

Can you handle your coffee black??? I know it's hard when half & half makes it so darned much better? But black coffee is calorie free, as is water.
