201lbs again today. I am hoping it holds and then moves down - I am working towards that result. I have realized that with this steady weightloss there is one thing that is very different from when I started low carbing - the timing and frequency of my eating. I now generally have my first meal of the day between 10 am and 11 am and my last meal between 6 and 7 pm. during that time I also try to get all my supplements in. the only nighttime supplement I take is magnesium. I try to keep my calories under 1400 and try to keep the carbs close to 35 or less. net carbs are usually under 20. This seems to keep the weightloss steady. now that I am getting back into workouts, I will see how it affects my meal requirements. one thing is clear .....it is imperative to pay attention as you go through this process. it's important in order to educate yourself about what your body needs so that you can maintain the habits that will keep you healthy and active well beyond just meeting your weightloss goals. have a great Sunday friends. piano lessons for the kids today. :)

I'm down to 185...again... FS say's 186, but they are rounding up and I'm rounding down. ok, it's 185.8.. I'm hoping to keep it going down again. It's so disappointing to see the scale go up, but exhilarating to watch it go down. Put me in such a hopeful mood.

Good for you on the weight. I just wanted to mention that I have had a bit of success with having a protein shake after my workout. It seems to keep me full. Mine has 130 calories so I just count that in my day, but a great way to bump up the protein without the carbs. Keep up the great work!!!!!!

Dboza, it does yhe same for me too. I try not to make it my key focus so that my emotions are not taken on a roller coaster. I have now moved from a size 18 / 20 to a size 14. That made me feel great. Lynn: I always get so confused with the many choices out there for protein shakes, is there one you like?

Thanks Jenn & Lynn... I'd like to know what protein shake you use or make, too.

I usually have a fat bomb before the gym with my coffee & heavy cream. Afterwards, I have eggs, bacon & cheddar or something to that effect. Roasted chicken or sliced roast beef and avocado is nice too. I've not gotten in protein shakes because I've not shopped enough around yet.

Darlene, is the fat bomb and coffee enough to keep you energized throughout your workout?

It has been working really well for me. I have two cups of coffee in the morning with a little splenda and heavy cream and eat one of my fat bombs. I have a 24-oz bottle of water and drink at least one of them while I'm in the gym. And I have my regular breakfast when I get cooled down from the work-out. I've not lost stamina or strength so I'll stick with it while it is working.

Fantastic .... I will try that approach.
