Redtribe's Journal, 22 March 2014

Had a glass of Pinot Grigio at my mother's last night and split a lamb shank meal. Had steamed chicken and veggies at Chinese restaurant and had a cup of hot & sour soup. The soup was delicious but a little thicker so I think there might have been cornstarch in it but not sure. Also the soy-ginger sauce that came with the meal was a tiny bit sweet. Didn't seem to affect me too much. Went down only if a tiny bit.

Had a late breakfast this a.m. Made a 2 egg omelet. I fried up some radish slices in butter and garlic powder and a little salt. Put that in the omelet with cream cheese and chives. It was delicious! Sounds weird, but I do like radishes and cooking them changed them a bit...made them more mellow. I will have that again!

I've got to try radishes like that. And I've never thought about cream cheese in an omelet. Sounds good!

Radishes are so low in calories. I will have to try them cooked!
