Today I ran 1.5 miles in 20 min, 10 sec. I feel okay about this 13.4 minute mile. It is better than last weeks 23 min. 1.5 mile. I mean, I don't think it's good, but if it's what I can do, so be it. Exercising makes me feel good and bad all at the same time. I'm glad that I am doing it and getting a sweat, but it's bad because it hurts, it's difficult, and it hurts my self-esteem. More negative than positive? Lovely. My new goal is to start running 1.5 miles every Wednesday (I have done it for two weeks in a row so far) and do an elliptical every Friday. I also do yoga Monday through Thursday. I will try and hit the gym on campus with friends on Saturdays. How come gaining weight is SO easy, but losing it is SOOO hard?
