Why is it that PMS is an achilles heel for many (women) of us trying to eat clean and low carb? Honestly I can control so many things about my eating now and I definitely plan ahead so that I have good wholesome food close at hand. But some months (like now), the pre-TOM symptoms drive me to lunacy! I can be having a great week of eating and suddenly out of nowhere the evil carb demon rears its ugly head! It is insatiable and relentless. Today has been a struggle to stay afloat. I kept my calories under control but my carbs crept up to just over 21 net (luckily still not bad). I fed the demon blueberries, whip cream and 85% cacao swiss chocolate. I hope it retreats for the night while I reload my low carb arsenals and get some courage to face it again tomorrow, if it shows up. SERENITY NOW!!!!!!!! Hope you are having a good evening friends!
