I hate to sound like I'm doing product endorsements, but I've been using something so great I feel the need to share - BOLTHOUSE FARMS YOGURT Salad Dressings - For blue cheese lovers, 2 Tbs Chunky Blue Cheese has only:
35 calories
1 gram carb
1 gram fat
But it tastes like it has a million calories.

They aslo make Ranch and Parmigiano flavors, but their counts are a little higher (45 cals. & 3 Carbs).

BTW - you can get it in the produce aisle (usually next to Marie's dressings).

Tell me what you think!

I'll have to try them! I've been loving the Whole Foods Health Starts Here Avocado Vinaigrette dressing mixed with rainbow slaw mix for a snack, but as I know in more things than just food, mixing it up can be a good thing! xoxox

Ruth - Thanks - unfortunately we don't have a Whole Foods, but next time I get to one I'll watch for it. I love avocado.

Well done, Buffy. So glad you've found what works for you. I generally make my dressings, but I'll have to give the Bolthouse a try. My bf loves their juice/smoothies.

That goes on the grocery list. Thanks.

Heather - Of course homemade is the best! But, being lazy in nature, I appreciate the convenience of pre-made.

Buffy - I am a huge fan of Bolthouse dressings and they are delicious, my favorite by far is the bleu cheese.

timconrad - it can be hard to find. For example, my Wal-Mart (in North Carolina) does not carry it, but my Sister's Wal-Mart (in New York) does. Sorry.

saratyler - Bleu cheese is my favorite too. I am just upset that it took me so long to discover them. Makes me wonder what else I may be missing out on?

This is a great line of products, thanks for sharing with everyone! The Ranch is great and the calories and fat are so much more manageable than regular ranch dressing.

I need to remember that. I love blue cheese. Yum! Which grocery stores have you found it at?

Hitting Wegman's tomorrow. If they don't have it, I'd be surprised.

Lola - so far I have found it at Publix.

I just went to their website and they are not showing the blue cheese in their list of products anymore. I wonder why? It's only listed under vinegarettes. Weird.
