Are you following a specific plan like keto? It is amazing for insulin resistance. For me I had to as I have an autoimmune illness and my body can't process sugar or carbs. Not only is my health healing (along with the meds I am on and diet) but I am also (slowly) losing some weight. Started at 104kg, pre FS in late Dec and joined here 12 Jan. Current weight is 94.6kg

Also... Be kind to yourself. It is always more difficult to lose with an illness and whatever meds you may be on for that. I try to focus on healing my body rather than weight. Don't give up before the miracle happens ❤️

just had a look at your timeline and I think you're doing well. the first couple weeks of most of our journey see a big whoosh of weight come off. honestly. most of that is water weight. it unfortunately sets people up for thinking that is the standard speed at which you'll lose. honestly. it's not. if you are losing between 250g-500g a week, that's killing it. if you lose 0.5-2kg a month youve aced it.
losing 100g is not to be scoffed at. it's that slow. stead. but consistent loss over time that will get you where you want to be. also. I swear by this. do some Googling and research the difference between weight loss and fat loss. you'll learn to understand why your life feels like Paula Abdul is singing your theme song. we lose weight... but the fat cell that stores triglycerides still exists. it then fills with water (which your scale will read as weight gain) then over the course of a couple days, the fat cell breaks down, you drop the water and the fat is lost. this cycle repeats itself. so even when you think you aren't losing, stuff is happening on a cellular level , so just try be s consistent as possible.

Hi, I also have PCOS and I am insulin resistant. Go and speak with your doctor. Mine put me on metformin/glucophage and I have lost a lot more weight quicker after I hit a plateau. Good luck!
