A good bit of inconsistency (weight was up and down) this week as I took some advice from others and worked on tweaking the diet to find the way it works with my body (which is not very well). I seem to have it now where its going down, but at a ridiculously slow pace. Can't eat too little, can't eat too much, gotta keep that fat and protein in the sweet spot. Honestly, I'm getting to the point where I think I have to accept that for whatever reason, this method of weight loss does not work great with my body.
I've decided I will go on HCG with a VLCD to get some weight off quickly and restore my faith in my ability to lose weight. I'll do a 21 day round of P2 and then 3 weeks of P3 (which is essentially a LC diet). By then it'll be time for our Spring Break cruise to the Caribbean. When we get back from that, I'll decide where I go from there.

CCalabro, I like the VLCD. I used it to go from 335 to 200. Now that I'm under 200 with a body fat percentage in the 15% range, I'm tweaking my diet using a few different methods. Be sure to get enough fiber, and take supplements to make up for the low carb intake and I believe you'll do great.

Hey, @Cc, I used VLCD too, that's how I got to around 213 (no HCG though). What calorie target are you going for? @TX, what were you targeting? I'm just curious.

Thanks guys! Rob, the recommended target is 500 calories a day, but my past experience has been that around 700-800 is more doable and still yields great, fast results.

Yeh. And make sure you're getting at least 80g of protein. Otherwise you cold lose your hair.
