Wow, that's great, wish I could say the same. But I'm working on getting it back down.

If it wasn't for covid the story would be different. Sad on how many birthdays parties I missed and holiday get togethers. Most of our birthdays are in the fall and winter. Life is too short not to be enjoyed and celebrated.💖

I think the biggest help to my weight loss (which I started in July after Covid caused our office to close) was the lack of the community kitchen and the constant working lunches/brunches and happy hours that were held to prevent employees from leaving the premises.

And congrats on the 180's. You're pretty close to your goal -- I bet you could even move the goalpost to 175 since you're obviously in a great groove. Cheers to looking hot!

Thanks JustBananas! 185 was always just a short term goal that lasted too long. Didn't want to jinx myself by putting my next goal in writing too soon.😊 150 is my ultimate goal. Geez... now I've done it. 😣

Yes, Joel, I was in the 220s for so long! Ridiculously loong time. Didn't help that I kept sabotaging myself. My body fights my losing weight efforts all the way. 😊 Onward!

I’ve been feeling the same. I started my journey from fat to fit at age 53. Feels like an uphill battle. But I feel great. Just takes me forever to recover from the runs and my body is in constant pain lol. I love it though and glad I started this journey.

Joe, so great that you are doing so well! It does feel great to make a positive body change. Sure beats not feeling strong and feeling like the body is on a down slide.

Because I started lifting weights the scale has only gone up. I started running 4+ miles every other morning to lose some fat but that’s not reflected on the scale. I think my scale is drunk lol. With all the inches I’ve lost and all the muscle I’ve put on it still says my muscle percentage is 24 and fat is 33. My goal is to lose most body fat and build more muscle all while getting down to 185. As for now the scale just keeps going higher lol. But I’m ok I feel great. In January I couldn’t run one block without being completely exhausted. I would run one block every day and just keep adding baby steps. This morning I ran four and a half miles without stopping. That’s an amazing feeling at 53 y/o. So I kinda don’t care what the scale says anymore lol.
