Kamitche51's Journal, 20 January 2011

I haven't written in my journal for a few days. After my weigh in at work I was a little down but I didn't give in to temptation. I have eaten really well and I hope just by continuing to eat this way that the weight will start to come off. I've increased my exercising too so if this doesn't do it then I don't know what will. My worse time of day is when I get home from work. The time between then and dinner is my hungriest time of day. I drank a gallon of water today and worked out during this time too. I was still hungry and I don't feel like I should be. How could I? Please let me be lost some weight be my next weigh in next week.

Hey I feel your pain...after work is my urge to gobble up food. I have found that hot, unsweetened green tea is great for filling me up until dinner time, and if you brew it from a tea bag and don't add any sweetener it's chock full of antioxidants and calorie free!

Kam - Are you on the special K diet of some sort? You could really help to curb that hunger by eating more protein. You are pretty top heavy in the carb department which is why you are probably hungry. Lean proteins (fish, chicken, turkey, etc) will really help to curb the appetite and also get your metabolism going.

Yes, I'm with HealthyBabs here. More protein is essentially needed here. It helps with the satiety (my new learned word... :) I love Special K but it's not really filling.
