Somehow I managed to turn yesterday's 13.1 run into 15 miles. Let me also say that trail running is substantially harder than road running. I'm feeling it this morning. Today I am thankful that this is a rest day.
My weight is up this morning, but that is no surprise as I've noticed that trend after every long run day. Sore, inflamed muscles collect a little more water. My legs actually feel heavy today. The smart scale shows it is muscle/water weight gain. Body fat is actually down. Tomorrow I expect that I will be back to at least the last weigh in. I'm not logging the increase today since I know it is the post heavy workout/long run increase. In fact I may hold off on posting a new weigh in until Friday or Saturday of this week so that I can mark where I am for the end of February. I realize Saturday is actually March, but I usually have a short run or no workout on Friday evening so it reflects a weigh in that isn't higher.
I am not happy to see Monday so soon. I need a recovery day from my weekend. Guess it is time to face the reality of work head on. Have a great week fellow FS buddies.

Hey, 2MC! I wish I could **accidentally** run an extra two miles. WOW! I'm far too aware of any exercise I do to let my "minimum" slip by. LOL! Anyway, WTG! And awesome work on your current weight chart : OVER 70 lbs, just since August. You are an inspiration! :D

Thank you all for the comments. Rob, by accidentally I really mean...I sorta got lost and it took an extra two miles to find my way back to the truck. I wish I could brag that I was just so hardcore that 13.1 wasn't enough, but the truth is...land navigation is not one of my strengths.
