Talked to Nutritionist today. I will start lifting again as soon as back gets better. No cardio or weights for a week. Keep the calories under 1800 daily. Try to get in 5 meals (5/1) daily. Perhaps I was not eating enough and the body held onto the calories I tried to burn.
