Hi everyone ... Happy Monday ! ! ! Hope everyone is starting off their week well.

Just bought myself a new scale ... A digital one with the body fat, water weight, and bone mass. Not sure how good it is gonna be but I cant wait for it to arrive.

Does anyone have one of those ? If so do you like it ?

Im hoping it was a good investment.

I have one. At first it was kind of fun to see what the scale said my water weight and body fat was, but I rarely use those features now. It's a great tool when you're first starting out because it helps you identify when you're bloated, but I think it's more important to learn how to feel it. Once you are in tune with your body you'll be able to know the feelings related to bloating making the digital reading kind of redundant.

I needed a new one anyway. And I wanted a digital one. If figure I probably wont use all the features all the time but thought it might be cool to have.

Oh you are going to knock them dead, and there is nothing wrong with some additional information, not sure how it measures it but I am sure it does some way. Keep up the great work.

Yeah, totally. It's fun to get those readings.

Anxious for it to get here : ) Hopefully it has accurate reading ... I weigh in tomorrow for the weight loss contest at work !

let us know how you like that scale. I have a regular scale at home but not sure if I want to put up the money for one that gives all that info or not!

I have one since a year and i'm happy with it! I'm not sure how accurate mine is but if you get a good one i'm sure it is! Good luck at your contest.

I will definatly let ya know crazybusy ( i just sent ya a buddy request so I can find ya ... lol ) ! Thanks nina , I cant wait for the contest. Actually started today but we can weight in anyday this week and I was off today so I am weighing in tomorrow morning. Its only 12 weeks. The girl who won last year lost 50 pounds and has kept it off. I wasnt really sure what we get if we win , but last night someone else at work told me that she got 150 in gift cards and a ton of free workout gear and clothing. That would be awesome to win : )

Yes, I have one also. That's the one that I want to throw up against the wall some days but then think about the cost. ;-) You will love using it. Good luck on the contest girlie. You will do well. The scale is a great way to know your numbers before the actual weigh in. :-)

I have this complete fear that my current scale could be off ( and I know its just a number and even if it is , i still lost 13 pounds ) ... What if I weigh in at work tomorrow and its like 5 pounds more due to scale ... And I swear if this new one comes and is the same I might just threaten to throw it against the wall too ! LOL

I use mine to track muscle as well as fat loss rather than an overall weight loss to make sure I am losing fat and not the all important muscle, and I think that side of things is important to anyone eating less calories than they are using. I agree some of the other features I skim over, but I nt want to lose all this weight and end up being a weakling !

Good luck on your weigh in, I know you will do great.

Good morning....that's great you are excited about the new scale. I look forward to hearing more about it. Mine is a straight digital weight only...but Im good with that... I was up a pound this week so my anger about that will make me get after it even more this week!

Sorry your weigh in didnt go well ... Maybe its just your body adjusting , you have been working out alot. Bet you have a good week next week. I just went and weighed in for this thing at work and I HATE the scale ... I weighed on my scale at home just to be sure i hadnt gained or anything . And this damn scale here added 6 friggin pounds. GRRRRRRRRR Now I am curiuos as to when my new scale comes , was my current one off by 6 pounds ! How sad : (

If you end up hating it....send it back. Yes...I am shooting for a great week this week :)

Oh to hell with the numbers, when you switch scales things like that happen, and yes they can be off that far if not even more. Those springs get old and if you have then in the bathroom the shower steam does not help a scale either. You are going outstanding chryssm, it is what is in your heart and motivation that counts.

I have one I bought at Walmart and I like it. Funny thing was thought, the first time the batteries started to die off I didn't realize it, I just thought I had really lost a lot of weight !!! It was reading about 7-8 pounds lighter than it should have been all of a sudden..so I was suspicious...DARN IT it was the batteries, so when I swapped them out, it was back to normal.......*sigh*
