Did I mention we went to Napa over the hols? Wine all the time, interspersed with martinis to cleanse the pallet. French onion soup, pot de creme. profiteroles (Bouchon) cream of tomato soup with a puff pastry top (Bistro Jeanty), sourdough toast and cheese EVERY morning! I am up 10 lbs. Trying to hold it there and get back to 800 cals /day no alcohol and 2 hrs of exercise. Exercise yes, 800 cals? Not yet :( Ate very well until 8PM and then HAD to make brownies. Ate two of them and still can feel the damage working it's way through my blood stream and intestinal track (TMI!) I baked for weeks over the hols and gave all away as gifts. Thought I had escaped the sugar trap. Guess I will have to get rid of the ingredients in my pantry. Baking chocolate, choc chips, sugar and butter MUST go!
Finding it very hard to get back into my healthy routines. Very hard indeed. Oh well, must get on with in and stop being a "jack-wagon" I love that commercial where an ex-drill sargeant is a psycho-therapist.
