I forgot to mention in my earlier post that I am having some MAJOR anxiety about dinner arrangements on friday evening...
It is my Grandmas 80th birthday and we are having a surprise dinner party for her at a very upscale restaurant. I haven't been eating out at restaurants, much easier to stay on track at home with meals I cook myself.
I looked up the menu for the restaurant today and think there are a few good choices. I am just going to have to show alot of restraint.
Last time we had a dinner like this the appetizers were ordered and lined the table for all to share and the wine just kept coming . Just the way things tend to go in a huge Italian family.
And dessert ....... Uggghhhh that will be a whole other event.
Wish me luck ... My weigh in in Saturday morning so I definatly do NOT wanna mess up

You can do this!! Don't allow anyone to push food on you; move the appetizers out of view; know what you are going to have before you go; have one bite of dessert if you want it. You will be so glad you took control. I took my own rice cakes and salad dressing to Outback last month, and had one small bite of Bloomin Onion as my treat. You have the power over temptation :)

Thanks !!! I know I can do it : ) and I WILL ! I think looking up the menu ahead of time will help. Going in knowing I plan to eat a certain thing. Its so weird ... I went from obsessing over food (to the extreme of overeating) and now I am obsessing over how not to eat wrong. I think my body is liking my new habits ... I crave healthy nourishing foods !

I know you can stay on track. You are strong and have been great support for me. So, enjoy yourself but eat within your calories and carbs. Remember you are a strong person. You got this!! :-)
