Experiment Day 4. I was very close to my 1720 cals for the day but my macros were still not spot on. The good news is I lost 1 lb overnight so I am 214 lbs today. I am having difficulty to hit my macros right on. Yesterday I was still higher fat than recommended by my macros. I planned today's food in order to get closer to the recommended. I still feel that fat needs to supersede protein for me so in that regard I won't be exactly the same as the recommended macros. It's clear to me that my protein needs to be higher than it has been in the past because I feel full for longer after a meaty meal. Last night I was antsy (not hungry) and had something to eat quite late. I find the night-time particularly difficult because I can't have too much water to quell the food demons (or I will be up in the bathroom all night), I don't want to eat anything very late (or I have to stay up later to aid the digestion = less sleep) and if I watch TV I find a lot of the shows are focused on food (which makes me crave). I am figuring it out though - slowly but surely! Having a wonderful day friends! BRRRRRRR cold here -23 but feels like -28.

Today's food diary looks really awesome! Congrats on the weight loss~! I think you have the right idea!!! Well done! Too cold there for me. I am ready to crank up the gas fireplace and it's only 34 degrees F here. LOL!

Thanks mom - I hope the experiment works! I want to be where you are. 34F sounds good to me. I can't take another minute of this blistering cold. Dreaming of a Caribbean resort right now!

I just can't imagine living where you and FatOldLady live. The temps are so extreme. I would move to Alaska if that is the way I wanted to live. :) I am rooting for you. You lost a lb. Let's see what else happens! So far my experiment made me have an upside down frown. LMAO! I never stay upset long.

I live just outside Toronto in Canada. We are not used to this so we are all suffering. Coldest winter in my lifetime.... it might as well be Alaska :(
