Day 19 Bootcamp

Oh my gawd I am busy with work! Got up watch the inauguration and it was quiet until 10 Am and then nonstop sh*t storm ever since. Ate tacos at 4Pm for "lunch" Inhaled them too-do not even remember how they tasted it-I know I ate because I feel so horribly full and horribly fat!

I have to figure out how to stick to a plan now that I am home 24/7 and the office is literally next to the kitchen. I am nibbling, nibbling, nibbling. Hi, my name is Dense and I am a stress eater.

No cardio exercise either for two days-so failed the exercise challenge this week too! I can;t remember last time I went more than a day without a walk or a run. I feel as if I am one of those penguins slipping off the ice and into the ocean. And I cannot swim.

My poor dog beast is very upset with me.
Okay had to write it all down or at least the parts I have time for so I make it real and do something about it!

Gotta run (well not really) but you know what I mean.

Uh oh, looks like you're a little stressed out, Hon. Take a deep breath or two. Then take a few minutes tonight to plan what you're going to eat tomorrow. Also, even if you could just take a 10 minute walk, it would do you good.....physically AND mentally....great stress reliever! You can even GO OUTSIDE to walk in that fabulous weather. You know how lucky you are??? Glad you wrote down your frustrations in your journal. It keeps your hands busy typing instead of grabbing something to eat. :) Hang in there, friend!

Back! It was good-saw the sunset. We are expecting rain tomorrow so the sky is interesting tonight. We may actually have weather in LA. Won't hold my breath though. Walk was so good-better than nothing. Thanks for prompting me to do something helpful. Feeling better.

Hey, what about scheduling time for exercise. I like the planning food idea. You are worth it, make it part of your job to take care of yourself. :) You are worth it.

Funny you should say that! This morning, I went out first thing-no email, no yahoo, no today show. I was stressed about leaving the office for an hour but it was still here when I returned. I feel so much better and know I can make my exercise the thing that comes first-then I belong to my clients.

it harder working from home (been there and done that). It's easy to get side tracked and sometimes getting the work done seems to take longer, friends and family think its okay to interrupt your day because its not really an "office". I know you will find a way to make it work for you. Maybe set a timer beside you on the desk and once an hour you get a break for some jumping jacks or a short run with the beast. At least you are holidng your loss and haven't gained anything back. I will know in the morning how I did on my trip. We really need to keep our goal in mind.. I keep telling myself all the time.. I WANT TO BE SKINNY!! (not real skinny...just nice.. but thats my new mantra)
