Well, here we go again. You’d think I would learn. I do so well on my eating plan, and then I gradually fall off the wagon. The sad thing that I have learned is that once I reached a certain age, I don’t just go back to the weight I was, but I gain more than I started with. I’m not 25 anymore; I can’t do the “Rocky” thing and get lean and trim in 30 days - like in my old military days. I’m going to go back on the high protein low carb plan again. It’s the only thing that works when you get older. I do believe what I have read - that the older you get, your body is less efficient at processing carbs. Since I don’t plan on cashing in my chips anytime soon, I guess I’ll have to make this a lifestyle change. Otherwise, a few more cycles and I’ll be as wide as I am tall.
