I'm still off on a weekend vacation at friends' in CT; and I woke up feeling really rather down on myself this morning. What's up with that? I'm feeling like a cheater is what, but decided that a reality check via my food and exercise diaries would tell the true tale. And, gratefully, the numbers never lie. I have been eating more (quite a bit in comparison to usual), but the only time I really strayed from plan was when I got stuck waiting for trains a LOT longer than planned and didn't have food with me to cover. So, when I get home and weigh in I'm ready for whatever, half expecting to be the same weight as my last weigh-in (or even a little higher until I start my period sometime this next week). I'm really glad I took the time to diary and journal this morning because otherwise I think I would have believed I'd REALLY blown it and be especially prone to eating whatever was handy on the trip back tonight--which would be a waste of some really good effort!
