Wow! Someone posted an old photograph of me today. This was for 'throwback thursday' - something that I don't generally participate in. Anyway, I was so THIN! I was SICKLY looking. All this time I wanted to get to my pre-pregnancy weight and now I see that I was more unhealthy back then, than I am now. I am not happy with my gut, but I am rethinking my end game. Perhaps more weight in muscle with similar measurements? I am astonished! I had no idea how bad I looked! I ate what I wanted and drank what I wanted, but looked anorexic or bulimic or BOTH! I am not making jokes as those are serious conditions, but it is making me realize that there is far too much emphasis on being thin. I don't feel sexy now, but I didn't look sexy then! Hindsight is 20/20. My goal is not going to be, to be thin. It will be to be healthy. What a wake up call!
