Day 17 BootCamp

I love summer! Why wait until June when we can have summer in January! IT'S SO HOT HERE. I wish I was in DC though. What a privilege to witness this historic moment. I just wish the telly coverage was not so banal and 24/7 ish. How many different ways to say the same thing?

Went out this morning with the beast. The spousal unit came along too. The beach is full of sunbathers and the strand full of bicycles and roller blades. No dolphins today. We left SU at the pier to check out the Sunday Jazz at the Lighthouse. Beast and I ran up the hill back home. Now I have to work myself up to do the housework. What is the deal with dust? It's everywhere. I need to dust twice a day-is that normal? Gawd I loathe housework. I only "enjoy" it when I am anxious and I clean like a lunatic. I guess I haven't been very anxious lately-the house is a tip!

I am struggling with getting any positive momentum behind my weight loss efforts. Less sugar yesterday-almost made it until end of night-3 Hershey Kisses and some tiny ginger snaps.

Planning on baking sf bran/banana and bran/blueberry muffins today so we have some quick breakfast stuff this week. I cannot bring myself to start eating eggs yet.

I pledge that today shall be a sugarless day.

Sugar is my downfall too. Once I start eating it I keep eating it. three hershey kisses and some g. snaps not bad if that is the only sweet thing you had...and to hold off until night way to go!

If you were in D.C. you might be singing a different tune! The cold and the crowds made me not want to be out there. I'll enjoy seeing everything from my nice warm home or classroom! Good luck with the sugar-free day!

Just keep trying with the sugar. You definitely have the exercise down. Great job!
