Good Morning FatSecret Family – It is a truly amazing day. Today is #1098 which is the three-year anniversary of my pancreas deciding to switch to part time/intermittent employment. It has been an interesting adventure to say the least. To keep it relatable to this page. I have been weight stable at 70Lbs under my peak in 2016. for the first time in my life my physical being is stable (mental is a whole other conversation) and I feel fantastic . My health is better than it has been since my 20s. I have not “starved” or deprived my self of anything. I make plans, work to stay as close as I can to them and then adjust as needed. I have had great day and ones that were far more challenging. I want to give a shout out to my wife who has been my co-pilot in this journey, and I could not do it with out her. I want to say how grateful I am for all of you who have been an example to me and freely offered suggestions and encouragement along the way. I want to say that it isn’t a breeze and there isn’t a one size fits all method to get here. This isn’t some “diet” that I am doing and just hoping to go back to the way it used to be. I wasn’t happy living that life and I don’t want it back. It takes some work but more than that it takes willingness to do something different than I have always done. I hope that you all can find a way to reach your goals and make those positive changes to be willing to try something different. Namaste.
