good morning people!! hope all is well and if not i hope it soon is

carrying a bit of water weight today. i think it's because all i did for exercise yesterday was normal housewife stuff. i don't have to go anywhere until i pick the kids up from school today so i'll have plenty of time to get my 45 min. workout done.(it just happens to be my favorite!!!!) n-e-who.

starting to potty train ever so slightly this week, and we go full force this upcoming monday. i already have a loss of appetite thinking of all the messes i'm sure to clean up in the next few weeks.nevertheless it is time, and she is definitely ready now. i thought she was a few months back, but she wasn't. so i backed off for a while to let her readjust. y'all pray for her and me that she can nip it in the bud without any setbacks. i'm doing the "praise her for what she does right" approach instead of scolding her for what she doesn't do right. i scolded her the last time we tried potty training, and all it did was disinterest her completely from even trying. the last day i tried she started crying when she saw me get a pair of her panties out instead of a diaper. i knew right then that she wasn't wanting to learn. she is just now about to be 2 next week so she understands more.(plus it helps that she knows Dora the Explorer "goes pee pee in the potty, too".she loves her some "duh"(dora) and boots)

well i must get up and get the day going. love ya's!!!!!

Good luck with the potty training. What totally worked for me was to give my son an m&m or tootsie roll everytime he went on the potty, for the first week or so.

yeah the tootsie rolls are what did it for my step-son,too. we had him potty trained in 2 weeks! something tells me though, that i'm not gonna be as lucky this go around!oh well-it has to be done if it takes until the summer to do it. i know one thing, i am going to take my time with her and not rush her.
