I am counting down the time to join Weight Watchers. I am not eating everything I ever wanted, I am trying to be careful, but I am looking forward to a new plan. I have been busy, listed a lot of my downsizing clutter on ebay. I have a couple of containers for the salvation army and some linens for the local shelter. I am trying to share the wealth of clutter. Oh, I forgot, old pillows are so needed at the animal shelter. I have been replacing those, and saving the older ones for the animals. Trying to start the new year with a little less bagage. I have found that as I get rid of things, I begin to feel freer and more able to concentrate on the things that I really love to do. I have been working on this for about 3 years. The first year I was so overwhelmed with all the stuff, but into the second year I could feel the freedom. It has also helped with my weight loss. So, I will be weighting in at WW on Tuesday morning. It has been several years since I attended a meeting, and I found the meetings kind of impersonal. But I am there to get a new program and to get a kick in the butt. I have my TOPS friends and meetings to get the personal touch. We have a core group of 8 that have been together for a while, we enjoy, support, and help each other along this path. I am also grateful for all my friends here, let's make this the year we reach our goal. It does not have to be a permant goal, like THE goal, but a goal that is achieveable and reasonable. That lets us live a full and enjoyable life while we work on becoming healthier. Hope the begining to your new year has been great and that you are looking forward to more wonderful delightful days ahead. Will check in again tomorrow. Take care!
