I figured I should write in here :) It wouldnt hurt! Even if its just once in a while and not too long.

I have tried to start weighing in every day to see if that helps or hinders me... yesterday morning when I didnt see a loss from Monday I thought that this was going to hinder me... buuuut this morning I weighed in and I was down and I thought differently. I am going to keep doing this and see what happens for the next week.

December was a hard month for me. I gained nearly 7 lbs over the month of December and I am trying to get rid of that weight! I started my journey in September 08 at 282.9 lbs and as of the beginning of December I was 267 and as of Jan 1st I was 274 :( BOO!!! I am now down to 272 and fighting to get back on track! I need to do this and I know I can. I am starting on Monday with exercising again and we will see how that helps me too :)

It's very good that you still have a net loss (you're not back to beginning weight) and you're starting to lose again. One very important thing though... Monday never comes. Exercise today and see how it helps you. Good luck! You are taking a big step by getting back on track.

I weigh in every day, it helps me tremendously, because even if I see a discouraging number then at least I know that I need to really stick to my diet instead of thinking "Well, I think I've been eating well this week so I should be fine!" I'm not leaving it up to chance! :D I agree with the person above me too...exercise whenever you can, even if it's just a tiny little walk. Usually you'll feel so good you'll keep going, and even if you don't, you'll be glad you did something :)

Awesome thanks guys!!! I will do that! I plan on exercising TONIGHT! :) See how I feel after that ;)

Journaling is so good!!! It really helps to get the support and ideas from other members!

I weigh in every day too and also record my food. I'm thinking that if I'm up a pound I can see from what I've eaten the day before what might have caused it. If I wait a week I could be up a lot more and then I'd have to look at my diet and I'd have wasted time. Its good if your weight doesn't fluctuate much but it might be a bit demoralising if you go up and down a lot. Keep exercising and journaling and you'll make it
