Merry Christmas all! We are returning to some sense of normalcy after the terrible weather and outages since Saturday. Just in time for Christmas!! There are still some people without power but it is a lot less than 250,000. After breakfast my family will get ready and drive to my sister's house for dinner. I am the only one up right now ... ooops scratch that, my oldest just came downstairs. We already did gifts for our little family last night but she left one to open this morning. Everyone is happy! Dinner will be interesting ... especially dessert (not sure I will eat any of the trifle that I am taking to the dinner but there are other things I will have). My plan is to stay focused on low carb and enjoy myself without feeling deprived. I will allow myself to up my carbs to about 40 or so and I expect that will cause some weight gain (I will lose it after the holidays no problem). I am not sure I will have any alcohol - I will see how I feel once I am there. More than anything I am looking forward to a fantastic day with my kids and family - creating Christmas memories!
