Gooooooooood morning, FS!!!! I woke up early this morning, around 6:00. I can see the sun rising right now. I woke up on my own, even though I had set the alarm for 7:30. I am going to take advantage of this time. Instead of going back to sleep, which I could easily do, I am getting up!!! I'll probably be a little tired later. But it's worth it. I can spend time on here and start my day.

So as Oprah said yesterday, I am changing one thing about my sleep pattern. And tonight I will go to sleep early. I don't want to stay up late anymore. It's absolutely not good for me. Last night I had actually fallen asleep around 9:00. But I couldn't sleep well with the whole family awake. So I woke up and joined them and then went on to stay awake until about 2:00 a.m. So I am going to go out and buy some ear plugs today.

That late night business makes me do weird things. It always has! I'm embarrassed to admit this -- I almost feel like not sharing -- aaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -- okay. Here goes -- I pigged out! I don't know how I could do it again after I had such a great day. Well, there's nothing to be said in my defense. I just have to cut out the root cause. I need to go to sleep early! And once in bed, I need to stay there! This pattern of going up and down in my weight has been a lifelong struggle. I have to figure out what causes it and nip it in the bud!

So here are today's goals:

1. Drink a lot of water! Water before every meal. Water between meals. Water instead of diet soda.
Get the diet soda out of the house.

2. Do my full exercise. Add a little weight training. Take kids on a walk to the park.

3. Buy ear plugs. And go to sleep early. Have kids go to sleep early.

4. Go to Costco. Buy shrimp and strawberries and asparagus.

5. Clean house. Clean the fridge, and get rid of unnecessary carbs. Put breads in freezer.

6. Make appointment for my hair for next week when kids are back in school.

7. Buy an extra toothbrush and paste for the bathroom right next to the kitchen. Use after meals.

8. Start putting my daily olive oil on veggies instead of on bagel.

9. For dessert, make my whipped fat free milk with no sugar jello combo.

10. Spend time on here, and refer to pics of good bodies for inspiration, to put mind in "thin" zone.

11. Buy pedometer.

That's all I can think of right now.

Looks like a good list!! I think there is a "medical" condition that we have that makes us pig out "after hours"... I tend to start having cravings if I stay up too late. Hitting the sheets earlier will most likely nip that in the bud for you!! Brush yourself off & keep going!!!

I definitely am suffering from the "late night munchies." I just wish there was an easier pill to swallow! LOL

If only they made chastity belts for our mouths! :) With a timer to spring the lock in the morning! Hey, I should patent that idea! I love your list. Good luck!

LOL!!! As for the oral chastity belt, I used to have my husband put a lock and chain on the door of the fridge at night. But it became really inconvenient. So now he keeps our old fridge out in the garage. And in that fridge, he keeps all the sweets that he loves to buy and that he eats very slowly. But on that he drilled on a permanent lock for me. That's the only way I can allow him to have all his sweets on hand. It's embarrassing but true!!!
