Yuck ... icy stuff is out there today. I cancelled my meeting and decided not to go in the office (I think one white-knuckle drive to work per week is enough, and I've done my quota for this week). I would much rather go in next week when the weather is better. Anyway, I will do as much as I can at home today including grocery shopping this afternoon. I made an appointment for my mani/pedi and will get my hair done in preparation for the kids piano recital and "after" party on Sunday.

Yesterday when I was out, I went to Chapters Bookstore and bought a Paleo book (combination cookbook and explanation of the lifestyle). I started reading it last night and plan to try some of the recipes. I am really drawn to it. While I was checking out Crossfit, I noticed that they recommend that you adopt a Paleo way of eating - which is interesting since I was already looking into Paleo. Destiny? Time will tell.

I have a decision to make by next week Friday and I am very conflicted. I have been asked by someone if I would come onboard a project during my sabbatical to help build a methodology that could be deployed as a package to small businesses (the main target)in the future. I would not be fulltime (about 2 days per week). They have the business process side and I would build the project management side. I have to let them know if I am in or out next Friday and how much I will charge (I have no idea about the $$$). My conflict is that I have this time to work on "myself" - I don't want to jeopardize that. It would also be nice to add this project to my resume. I will be thinking hard over the Christmas Holidays - wish me luck!
